Insufficient heat resistance: ABS sheet heat resistance is relatively poor, ordinary ABS long-term use temperature is generally not more than 60 ℃, high heat-resistant ABS heat-resistant temperature up to 97 ℃ or so, when the temperature exceeds its thermal deformation temperature, easy to deform, affecting its dimensional stability and performance.
Chemical stability is limited: ABS sheet, although some weak acids, weak bases, etc. have a certain degree of tolerance, but strong acids, strong oxidants and some organic solvents (such as esters, ketones) is more sensitive, easy to be eroded, resulting in a decline in performance.
Poor low-temperature performance: in low-temperature environments, the toughness of the ABS sheet will be reduced, easy to become brittle, resulting in a decline in impact resistance, affecting its use in cold areas or low-temperature environments.
Flammability: ABS sheet itself does not have good flame retardant properties, belongs to the flammable material, easy to burn when encountering open flames or high temperatures, and may produce a large number of smoke and toxic gases, there are certain safety hazards.
