Introduction to Our PTFE Products

We are a professional manufacturer and supplier of premium PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) tubes and sheets. As a high-performance engineering plastic, PTFE is widely recognized for its outstanding chemical resistance, extreme temperature tolerance, ultra-low friction coefficient, and excellent electrical insulation properties. Our PTFE tubes and sheets are produced from 100% virgin PTFE resin, ensuring consistent quality, purity, and mechanical strength.

Whether you need corrosion-resistant liners, non-stick surfaces, high-temperature seals, or precision-machined components, our PTFE materials offer a reliable solution for industries ranging from chemical processing to aerospace, semiconductor manufacturing, food production, and medical devices.

Product Appearance – Visually Identifiable Quality

PTFE Tube

Our PTFE tubes feature a smooth, homogeneous surface with a natural off-white (milky) color. The surface is non-porous, waxy to the touch, and has a slight translucency in thinner walls (<1 mm). Tubes are free from cracks, bubbles, surface contamination, or foreign particles. Available forms include:

Extruded PTFE tubes – standard round cross-section, straight lengths or coiled.

Molded PTFE tubes – for larger diameters and thicker walls.

Heat-shrink PTFE tubing – for electrical insulation and protective covering.

Outer diameter (OD) ranges from 1 mm to 200 mm; wall thickness from 0.2 mm to 10 mm. Custom diameters and lengths are available.

PTFE Sheet

Our PTFE sheets are dense, flat, and dimensionally stable with a uniform creamy-white appearance. The sheet surface is extremely smooth (Ra ≤ 0.2 μm on request), exhibiting the classic non-stick, low-friction texture. No pinholes, delamination, or warpage is present. Available in:

Skived PTFE sheets – thin, precise thickness from 0.2 mm to 6 mm.

Molded PTFE sheets – thick, rugged plates from 8 mm up to 100 mm.

Modified PTFE sheets (TFM™) – with reduced creep and improved weldability.

Standard sheet sizes: 300×300 mm, 500×500 mm, 1000×1000 mm, or 1200×1200 mm. Larger custom dimensions on request.

All materials are 100% visually inspected and laser-micrometer tested before packaging.

In-Depth Performance Properties

1. Thermal Stability

Continuous service temperature: -200°C to +260°C (-328°F to +500°F)

Short-term peak up to 300°C without structural failure

No embrittlement at cryogenic temperatures

Minimal thermal expansion (coefficient of linear thermal expansion ~10×10⁻⁵/°C, controllable with fillers)

2. Chemical Resistance

Inert to virtually all chemicals – including concentrated acids (H₂SO₄, HNO₃, HCl), alkalis (NaOH), organic solvents (acetone, toluene), and aggressive media like chlorine or hydrazine.

Only molten alkali metals (e.g., sodium) and elemental fluorine at high temperatures affect PTFE.

Zero swelling, weight change, or mechanical degradation after long-term immersion.

3. Low Friction & Wear Resistance

Coefficient of friction: 0.05–0.10 (static & dynamic) – one of the lowest of any solid material.

Self-lubricating – ideal for bearing and sliding applications.

Wear can be further enhanced with fillers (glass fiber, carbon, bronze, MoS₂) – we offer filled PTFE upon request.

4. Non-Stick Surface

Lowest surface free energy (~18.6 dynes/cm) – nothing sticks permanently.

Easy release of adhesives, food, resins, and coatings.

Simplifies cleaning in food and pharmaceutical processing.

5. Electrical Insulation

Dielectric strength: 30–50 kV/mm (depending on thickness)

Volume resistivity: >10¹⁸ Ω·cm

Stable dielectric constant (2.1) from low frequencies to GHz range – suitable for RF and microwave applications.

High arc resistance (over 300 seconds).

6. Weather & UV Resistance

No degradation even after decades of outdoor exposure.

Resists ozone, UV radiation, salt spray, and moisture absorption (absorption <0.01%).

Ideal for outdoor electrical insulation and marine environments.

7. Mechanical & Flexibility

Tensile strength: 25–35 MPa (virgin)

Elongation at break: 250–400% – excellent flexibility, especially in thin tubes/sheets.

Note: PTFE has relatively low creep resistance (cold flow) under continuous load; for structural applications, consider filled grades or thicker cross-sections.

Detailed Applications by Industry

Chemical Processing
