Production Of Colored PC Sheets
Raw Material Drying: PC is highly hygroscopic. Dry at 120℃ for 4–6 hours with moisture content below 0.02% to avoid bubbles and silver streaks.
High-speed Mixing: Uniformly disperse PC resin, imported color masterbatch and additives (UV / flame retardant) in a high-speed mixer.
Melt Extrusion: Adopt twin-screw extruder at 260–320℃ for melting and plasticization under high temperature and high pressure; extrude slab with thickness of 1–10 mm through sheet die.
Cooling & Sizing: Continuous cooling by three-roll calender (roll temperature 80–120℃) to control flatness and internal stress.
Double-sided UV Coating: Adopt roll coating / flow coating process to apply anti-aging UV coating on both sides, followed by UV curing to improve outdoor weather resistance.
Annealing Treatment: Anneal at 80–100℃ for 1–2 hours to eliminate internal stress and ensure no long-term deformation within -40℃～+120℃.
Precision Cutting: Cut sheets to required size and polish edges; thickness tolerance controlled within ±0.1mm.
