- Co-Extruded UV Protection Layer: During the manufacturing process, we fuse a sacrificial UV-resistant layer directly onto the surface of the sheet. Unlike varnishes or films that can peel or wear off over time, this co-extruded layer becomes a permanent part of the sheet, ensuring long-term protection.
- Extended Lifespan: This layer absorbs and dissipates harmful UV radiation, preventing the polymer chains from breaking down. As a result, sheets used in outdoor applications-such as greenhouses, carports, and exterior cladding-maintain their mechanical strength and clarity for 5 to 10 years longer than unprotected standard sheets.
- Application-Specific Advice: Not every project requires the same level of protection. If your application is indoors or away from direct sunlight, we can advise on standard grades. However, for projects where the material will face harsh sunlight, we strongly recommend (and can provide samples of) our co-extruded UV grade to ensure your end-product lasts.
