Problems in the blister moulding

Blister moulding products in the production process, common problems and solutions

 

(1) Line pulling


Plastic sheet in the production of blister moulding will produce some undesirable lines protruding (not on the mould), at this time, what we need to do is to re-modify the mould, by lowering the height of the mould and increase the degree of the garden slip and add extra pressure mould (which is often referred to as the upper mould) to solve the problem. In the case of too big drawing line, it will be regarded as inferior product and can not be used for high-grade blister packaging, but in the field of parts turnover tray, as long as the drawing line is neatly arranged and does not affect the use of the function, it should be regarded as qualified product.

(2) Scratch


Blister finished products, especially transparent blister with scratches on the traces, if the traces are too long, too big, the blister becomes inferior, can not be used for high-grade packaging. For the scratch problem that has to do with a lot of factors, from the production process of plastic sheet to the operation of the machine, over the machine, punching, folding, packaging and so on may produce this phenomenon. This is mainly for customer requirements, if the customer is quite concerned about this issue, then we must pay special attention to the production process to do a good job of prevention.

 

(3) Crystal point


In the blister sheet production process, due to fine dust in the air, falling on the plastic sheet being heated and melted, resulting in a kind of transparent defects, especially in the transparent blister sheet production process, this defect is too large, too much, as a substandard product. For the crystal point, bubble problem is present in the blister factory in the most common problems, which is mainly based on customer requirements, resulting in the existence of the above problems are:
1.the quality of raw materials, whether it is a new material; 2.the production of the mould is a copper mould, aluminium mould, or plaster mould, which is related to the mould production itself; 3. the production environment is dusty, is not a dust-free workshop, whether the machine is clean around and so on.

(4) Bubble


In the plastic sheet production process, due to the heating of the plastic sheet contains air, can not be discharged before extrusion, so that the production of finished plastic sheet with air bubbles in the finished plastic sheet, especially in the transparent blister sheet production process, this bubble is too large, too much, considered as a substandard product.

 

(5) Water ripples


In the production process of blister sheet, due to different materials and processing technology, make the finished sheet surface with water ripples, especially in the transparent blister sheet production process, this water ripples is too large, too much, is regarded as substandard products. In general, the thicker the sheet, the more obvious the water ripples. So we recommend for the thickness of 3mm, of course, also depends on the specific stretching in the suction moulding how big, the bigger the stretching, the thicker the sheet needs to be.

(6)  suction is not in place

 

For suction not in place is mainly due to the product temperature is not enough to cause, there is a deeper product, not pressed on the mould or on the mould pressure is not in place to lead to this phenomenon is also mainly rely on the captain of the machine to complete the adjustment.

 

(7) cracking problem

 

For the burst problem is mainly based on the nature of the material itself to decide, some materials are very brittle, the production process is easy to burst, here I recommend our factory production and manufacturing of abs sheet, used for vacuum moulding, the effect will be much better than the other plastic sheet of the vacuum moulding effect. There is also related to the weather, winter, relatively speaking, the material is more brittle, so in the raw material with the formula should be special idea. Heating temperature must also be moderate, heating temperature is too high and too low will produce the problem of sheet cracking.
