Disadvantages of PVC hard board
- Poor heat and cold resistance
PVC hard board is easy to deform in high temperature environment and easy to be brittle in low temperature environment. Generally, its operating temperature range is between - 15℃ and 60℃. Plastic sheets that require temperature resistance can choose polycarbonate sheets, which have a wider temperature range.
- Environmental protection is not good
Some stabilisers, plasticisers and other additives will be added to the production of PVC rigid sheet, and some of the additives, such as lead salt stabiliser, may contain heavy metals, with potential environmental hazards and health risks. At the same time, the recycling process of PVC hard board may produce secondary pollution.
