Production Process – Extruded ABS Sheets
All our ABS sheets are manufactured via continuous flat-die extrusion, a process that ensures uniform thickness, consistent molecular orientation, and minimal internal stress. Key features of our extrusion line:
- Dimension Customization – Sheet width can be tailored from 600 mm up to 2,500 mm to suit various panel sizes, reducing material waste.
- Thickness Flexibility – Ranging from 1.0 mm to 12 mm, with tight tolerances (±0.05 mm), allowing engineers to specify thinner gauge for lightweight headliners or thicker gauge for heavy-duty floor mats.
- Property Tuning – By adjusting extrusion temperature, screw speed, and downstream cooling calibration, we can modify the sheet's flexural modulus, elongation at break, and surface gloss to meet specific OEM requirements.
Our extrusion line operates with online thickness gauging and automatic die lip adjustment, ensuring every roll or cut-to-length sheet meets rigorous quality standards.
