Quality Identification
Combustion test:
ABS plastic sheet combustion produces obvious black smoke, polycarbonate sheet with flame retardant will be self-extinguishing, PVC sheet combustion emits pungent acidic smell. By observing the burning phenomenon, you can initially judge whether the product is pure ABS plastic.
Light transmission test:
Although ABS plastic sheet is not the main high light transmission, but in some of the light transmission requirements of the scene, such as lighting equipment shell, need to carry out light transmission test. Thinner ABS plastic sheets can be placed under a specific light source and tested with professional instruments. Of course, we can provide ABS light diffuser sheet, which has a certain degree of light transmission uniformity to meet the basic light transmission requirements of the corresponding scene.
Size verification:
accurate size is related to the actual use of the product. Use a micrometer to measure at least three points in the centre and diagonal of the plastic sheet, and the thickness deviation should be controlled at <±5%. If the deviation is too large, it will affect the strength and performance of the product as well as its compatibility with other components.
